Knox Bingo was a unique challenge because Knox Bingo itself is so unique. We needed to create an identity that felt fun and approachable, while making two things immediately clear: this is bingo, and it’s all about community.
To bring in the fun, we selected a typeface with plenty of personality. It’s clean and easy to read, but doesn’t feel overly corporate or serious.
To make the connection to bingo unmistakable, we transformed the “O” in Knox into a bingo ball spinner, which also became the standalone icon for the brand. The spinner created a natural line running through the logo, giving us the perfect opportunity to incorporate hands and hearts on either side to represent community and people coming together.
The final bundle includes an icon, vertical logo, and extended logo, giving Knox Bingo a versatile identity that can stay consistent across events, signage, apparel, social media, and more.
You’ll be seeing these logos all over Knoxville as Knox Bingo hosts events throughout the year. We’re excited to watch the brand grow and add more photos of the identity in action along the way.
